One of the best cycle tours I’ve experienced
The trip was absolutely brilliant from beginning to end. Efficient hotel pick up & transfer, great briefing, excellent bikes and super shared information about culture, vegetation, history and many other things.
Provided excellent coffee stop and lunch.
Would rate this trip and the guys very highly.

Cycling tour
We had an amazing countryside tour with Matahari. It was the perfect complement to visiting George Town, showing us the rural and authentic side of Penang. Our guide was passionate, knowledgeable and made the experience both fun and educational. One of the highlights of our stay in Penang, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the island.

Een mooie makkelijke tocht met zeer bevlogen gidsen en perfect georganiseerd
Wij boekten de 3 uur fietstocht. Het contact was heel goed. Snel en positief. Heel aardig. We werden op de afgesproken tijd opgehaald. En we ontmoetten onze Super leuke gidsen. Fietsen stonden klaar, al op de juiste zadelhoogte.
De tocht was heel informatief, ook veel geleerd over de natuur en hoe mensen leven. Het enige nadeel vonden we dat we erg kort en heel langzaam hebben gefietst: we waren na 2,5 uur klaar waarvan zeker een uur uitleg en koffie drinken. Als nederlanders hadden we een langere fietstocht verwacht waar we ook meer zouden zien.
Dus voor een volgende keer zouden we een langere tocht boeken.

An absolute must do in penang! would highly recomend.
Princilia and SJ were very accomodating and managed to change their schedule to fit us in last minute.
Pick up and drop off to our hotel was a breeze and the tour itself was informative, adventurous and a breathe of fresh air from the hustle and bustle of georgetown.
We were made to feel like family from the moment we met and it felt like there was a genuine desire to make us happy and comfortable along the tour. SJ and Princilia were very informative about the wild life, heritage of the area and surrounds and the scenery itself was soul calming. Only regret is that we couldn’t do a longer tour. Thank you very much Matahari for a very memorable day!!
